Amaya was featured dancer in the German extravaganzas "Salome" and "Zorba" and even Circus Conelli in Zurich, Switzerland.  She has won numerous awards.  Amaya was born in Texas, now residing in New Mexico and has traveled extensively throughout nineteen different countries teaching and performing.  Her dance is filled with passion and fire, tempered with elegance and flashes of fun.  This fuson expresses the heart of Andalusia with the Spirit of Arabic.  Her dance transcends time and place.  She will be presenting an elegant certificate of completion availablea to all seminar participants that complete full day of Amaya's worksho or full weekend of studies.  Please bring fan/skirt for the afternoon and we will be learning an exciting drum solo in the morning.

AFRITAH originally from Texas, moved to Germany about 20 years ago.  She has taught workshops through the United States (including Rakkasah), North Africa, New Zealand and Europe. She has performed at numerous restaurants and clubs and theatres.  Her clear method of breakdown and explanation and use of layered concepts make her workshop a challenge to all levels and an inspiring experience with out making them impossible for the new beginner.  Afritah means "little devil" which I translate as fun-fun-fun

VIVIANE from Brazil is an accomplished instructor and performer.  She dedicates her life to pursue the traditional Egyptian belly dance style or "Raks Sharq" while incorporating Brazilian flavor without distancing herself from the dance origins.  Her recent highlights are IBDC competition susion champion, workshop and show in Porto Alegre Brazil, Bell dancer of the Universe Fusion Champion, belly dance of the universe finalist Egyptian category and winner of Miss universe congeniality award., belly dance ORama DVD produced by IAMED, worshop in Santa Calarena Brazil.  Vivian is featured on the Christiane Northrup Book "Belly Dance".  She was a workshop instructor and world belly dance competition judge in Seoul, korea.  Viviane will be teaching a sassy new choreography and combos. There will be a great warmup followed by an all new Brazilian shimmy drill. then a Modern Egyptian choreography with a focus on posture and poses. Bring a veil 

SHIREEM – Corpus Christi, Texas. Shireem, sponsor of Shimmy By The Sea and Shimmy AT Sea Belly Dance Cruise, has been teaching and performing since 1976. She and her daughter, Susan, direct the Mystic Dancers, Lotus Dancers and Pacific Islanders Polynesian show. This dance/drum group performed in China for the Euro/American festival in 2006.
