The Pacific Islanders Polynesian Show

   Prepare yourself for the exotic beat of island music. You'll want to get up and move as the Pacific Islanders take you on a pulsating journey to the islands of the South Pacific.
This high energy spectacular features cultural dance and music highlighted by comedy and passion. Audiences will appreciate the attention to authenticity in costuming, implements, and presentation as the Pacific Islanders tour such destinations as Hawaii, Samoa, New Zealand, and Tahiti. Their show will keep audiences intrigued. The powerful live Tahitian drum band demands respect with its fast paced rhythm and energy. The dancers hips and hands are almost tireless. By the end of the evening you will want to know the secret to such focus. And if you are lucky, you may be invited to shake with the best of them. But that's just the beginning, because, the Pacific Islanders present as a feature their fire knife dancer. Blink and you will regret missing even a second of this primal dance with fire. No doubt these dances are HOT!

The Pacific Islanders operate out of Corpus Christi, Texas They have performed in most of the U>S. and traveled with the Bob Marley Festival's national tour for 3 years. They opened for John Secada at the Tropical Concert. In May 2006, they appeared in Jinan, China at the Euro-American Festival as the only Polynesian performers (there were 7 groups) for 9 days with 3 shows a day. The President of China attended as did thousands of Chinese. The group's specialties include conventions, theatrical stages, festivals, children's parties, school functions, birthdays, graduations, weddings, wedding showers, back yard parties, or any special occasion. We have small shows with two dancers and a boom box up to our larger shows with dancers in many different costumes, Tahitian drummers, fire knife dancers, limbo, hulas, audience participation, sound systems and lights. Our group loves to travel so even if your event is not close to us, we will travel. We have very reasonable prices for our shows and different sizes both with time and number of performers. Call or email for prices. The Pacific Islanders will enchant young and old alike. Audiences will walk away feeling that they were transported across the ocean. So, not only is this a wonderful way to visit the Pacific, it's a wonderful opportunity to bring the islands home.
